Is this your first backpacking trip? Or are you new to desert hiking? During this overnight trip, we will focus on the fundamentals of safe backcountry travel and desert-specific considerations. In addition to classic Glen Canyon Backcountry Club services, this trip will provide:
A pre-trip phone call to answer questions and ensure you are prepared.
A pre-trip training guide.
Our private trips include:
Guides select a route based on seasonal and current conditions.
Dinner and breakfast are prepared by our guides. You pack a lunch and snacks.
Small Group Size (maximum 8 participants)
Team cooking gear, water purification, and First Aid Kit are provided
Satellite messenger available for emergency communication
Human waste bags are provided where required
Clients receive a detailed trip handbook and gear list upon reservation
